This Privacy Policy explains how Tranquilix Pty Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses and shares information when you use Breeze and any related services (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly — including your email, username, password, optional profile details, journal entries or breathing reflections, and support communications. If you subscribe, payments are processed by Apple or Google and we do not store your full payment details. We also collect information automatically, including session history, streaks, progress data, friend connections, co-breathing activity, device identifiers, IP address, app version and crash logs. If you sign in via Apple or Google, we receive basic account information as permitted by your settings with that provider.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to provide and improve the Service, personalise your breathing exercises and progress tracking, power social and co-breathing features, send service-related notifications, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations. We will never sell or rent your personal information.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us operate the Service (such as hosting and analytics providers), bound by confidentiality obligations. Certain activity may be visible to friends you have connected with, subject to your privacy settings. We may also disclose information when required by law, or in connection with a merger or acquisition subject to equivalent privacy protections.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and for a reasonable period afterwards unless a longer period is required by law.

5. International Transfers

We may process and store your information outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection wherever it is processed.

6. Your Rights

The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
